As a fully registered educator with Our Village Family Day Care in Sunbury, I offer high-quality childcare in a small, home-like setting that encourages individual attention, creativity, and hands-on learning. My goal is to give each child the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities—whether it’s planting in the garden, dancing, or having a fun and messy muffin-baking session. About Me
Hello! My name is Rakiba, and I am a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience in Family Day Care. I began my journey in 2001 and completed my Diploma in Child Services in 2011, which deepened my knowledge and passion for early childhood development.
I have always loved working with children, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch them grow, not only in their knowledge but also in their confidence and independence. Some of the very first children I cared for are now pursuing their studies at university—seeing them reach such milestones fills me with joy and pride.
My philosophy is simple: I care for the children as if they were my own. I strive to offer new, exciting, and educational experiences every day. Whether it’s learning through gardening, dancing, or getting creative with arts and crafts, I make sure that each child has fun while developing valuable life skills.
In addition to caring for children, I hold a current First Aid and CPR certification to ensure that your child’s safety is always my top priority. I am also experienced in providing care for children with special needs, ensuring that all children, no matter their background or abilities, receive the love and care they deserve.
